DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful classroom teaching experience.

Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service at the grade level and subject area to be taught.

Possession of Bilingual, Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development (BCLAD), Bilingual Certificate of Competence (BCC), Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development (CLAD), Language Development Specialist Certificate (LDS) or English Language Development (ELD) certificate.

PROCEDURE:

District application form. (Certificated Application)

Photocopies of college transcripts.

Copy of valid California Teaching Credential.

College/university placement file or three letters of recommendation.

Copy of CBEST scores.

SALARY RANGE:   (Salary Schedule)

Placement on the regular teachers' salary schedule (187-day contract/180 student contact days).  Seven years of prior teaching experience accepted for salary placement purposes.

FRINGE BENEFIT PLAN:

The District pays $600.100 per month toward the health insurance plan of your choice for full-time employees.  Several plan options are available.
